Arcus Architecture is now the Residential architectural practice stemming from the origins of Arcus Design Group: a 35+ year established architectural firm of high-quality design, service-driven value, and environmental responsibility.

Since the 2022 merger of Arcus Design Group with Precis Engineering to form Precis Engineering + Architecture, the commercial portfolio is now located and operating under the Precis name.

Paul J. Salvaggio, AIA, LEED® AP

Principal

Paul brings creativity, practical knowledge, and 35+ years of experience with construction and building science to his leadership role. He serves as the Director of Residential & Special Projects and as a Precis Principal, managing the commercial Architecture group. From the inception of Arcus and the formation of what is today, Arcus Architecture, Paul has worked on a large spectrum of highly custom residential projects, restaurants, historic architecture, and heritage projects, drawing from personal experience living in a 260-year-old farmhouse. Paul enjoys sketching and hand rendering as much as computer drafting to express design ideas and ensure his clients can perceive and comprehend the ideas or details of any project.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Architecture and B.S. in Architecture from the Pennsylvania State University and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). He has taught design studios as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Drexel University for over 20 years and serves as a member of the Easttown Township Planning Commission. Paul is a licensed architect in six states.

Debbie Douglas, AIA

Senior Architect

Debbie Douglas is an accomplished Architect with more than 30 years of technical Architectural experience. Debbie has extensive experience as a designer and project manager on a wide variety of commercial and residential projects. Her skills in design and detailing, project management, program development; space planning, laboratory design, medical suites, hospitality, institutional and interior design have effectively allowed the delivery of many successful projects. Debbie’s approach to design from conception through completion is collaborative and responsive to the clients' needs.

Marc R. Krause, AIA

Architect

Marc joined Arcus Architecture in 2019 and began with a focus on Residential Architecture, Renovations, and Additions, while helping to support commercial projects. He has skills and expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, including AutoCAD, Revit and Sketchup, enabling the client to visualize the project. He has been involved in all aspects of the design process including site surveying, programming, design development, and construction documentation and management.

Robert Dlugos

Designer

A Drexel graduate, Class of 2018, Rob has been with Arcus Architecture for 5+ years and is currently working towards PA State licensure. His skill set includes IT experience in operation and upkeep of design hardware (i.e. 3d Printer, CNC routing, motion capture), and general systems upkeep/management. His focus remains on the digital element, navigating architectural representation with abilities in Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign as well as other varying programs and plugins.
